Although not teaming with life, El Balito is a spectacular dive for both novice and advanced. The main feature is the mind bending volcanic scenery including numerous caves and swim-throughs. Down at 28 meters you find a large swim through whilst in the shallows you can enter a number of caves including one with a chimney up to the surface. Near the surface you can usually see schools of barracuda patrolling the coastline and in the caves there are numerous sponges, anenemones, glass-eye and trumpet fish.
